Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, recently joined Rabbi Fridman at Maon Noam Congregation of Canada to announce the allocation of $7,500 through the Anti-Hate and Security Measures Grant to support the local Jewish community in Vaughan during an unprecedented rise in hate-related crimes.
“Hate does not have a home in Vaughan,” said MPP Lecce. “It’s an honour for me to stand with Rabbi Fridman and demonstrate our government’s commitment to opposing antisemitism and enhancing the safety of our residents."
