MPP Lecce Speaks to Villanova Careers and Civics Class

On July 10, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, was a guest speaker at Villanova College's Careers and Civics Summer School Class. MPP Lecce met with the class to highlight his journey—from his parents' immigration story to his time as President of Western University's student government, working for former Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and ultimately becoming the Member of Provincial Parliament for King—Vaughan and Ontario's Minister of Energy and Mines. MPP Lecce shared his insights for students looking to pursue government or public service as a career.

 

"I am constantly impressed by the next generation of future leaders in our community," said MPP Lecce. "The Mayor and I shared with the class that effective public service is grounded in hard work, partnership, and standing up for what's right for our community and country."
