MPP Lecce Joins Premier Ford at the 48th Annual Ahmadiyya Jalsa Salana

On July 11 and July 12, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended and spoke at the Ahmadiyya Community's 48th Annual Jalsa Salana. MPP Lecce joined Premier Doug Ford on Saturday. The Jalsa Salana is Canada’s largest and longest-running Canadian Muslim convention, welcoming more than 23,000 attendees annually from across Canada and around the world. MPP Lecce has attended and spoken at the Jalsa every year since his election in 2018. 

 

"Love for all, hatred for none—that is the core message and guiding principle of the Jalsa," said MPP Lecce. "It was great to see the Ahmadiyya community come together for another successful convention—celebrating the values of peace and unity that are foundational to the Ahmadiyya community, and the freedom of faith our country is blessed with."
