MPP Lecce Congratulates Local Hero on Charity Run

On May 9, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King--Vaughan, was at the Big Cannoli in Vaughan to welcome Giuliano Todaro as he completed a 200km charity run from Western University in London to Vaughan raising money for childhood cancer research. MPP Lecce is an alumnus of Western University, where Giuliano is now enrolled at the Law School. 

"It was a true honour to welcome Giuliano home as he completed his impressive journey from London to Vaughan," said MPP Lecce. "It's no easy feat to run 200 kilometres for seven days straight -- but the effort was well worth it to raise nearly $20,000 for the SickKids Foundation, and I couldn't be more proud to bestow a Canadian Flag to this impressive young leader."
