On May 24, Stephen Lecce, MPP for KingVaughan, was joined by Team Lecce at the 175th Annual Schomberg Agricultural Parade and Fair. As with the Victoria Day Fair in Nobleton, Team Lecce was on a mission to hand out hundreds of Canadian flags to patriotic residents and community members attending the Schomberg Fair.

"Over 175 years ago, the 49th parallel was established officially separating the United States from Canada," said Stephen Lecce, MPP for KingVaughan. "Schomberg and the Schomberg Agricultural Fair both older than Confederation itself stood the test of time as proud Canadian traditions.

To help strengthen our sense of identity and pride in country, my team and I were out in force handing out 500+ Canadian flags to families along Main Street. I want to thank the Agricultural Society, the farmers, the volunteers, our First Responders and many more for 175 years of the first and best Fair in Ontario."
