On October 20th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan and Ontario’s Minister of Education, visited the Kidz World Childcare Centre in King City. MPP Lecce toured the facility and interacted with staff and some of the children. This centre was a beneficiary of Minister Lecce's work that led to a 50% reduction in child care fees for King and Vaughan families.
“Affordable child care is critically important to hard-working families here in King-Vaughan, and across the province, which is why our government is taking action to reduce child care fees and create more child care spaces in the heart of our community,” said MPP Lecce. “Special thanks to the founders, Amanda Farrage and Stephanie Mammone, for their hard work and passion supporting children across the the community at the Kidz World Childcare Centre. We are committed to reducing fees even further for working parents."
