Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined Rosanna Defrancesca, Ward 3 Councilor in Vaughan, and the Vietnamese Association of Vaughan for a Spring Event at the Vellore Village Community Centre in Vaughan.
The event included refreshments, games for children, karaoke, and live music, hosting MPP Lecce and thanking him for his support for the community.
“Vietnamese-Canadians have contributed so much to Ontario’s economy, democracy, and our society, as courageous immigrants who fled persecution in Community Vietnam in the pursuit of freedom and democracy,” said MPP Lecce. “It was a pleasure to support this event and meet Vaughan’s growing Vietnamese community, including many parents who are excited about our affordable child care deal that will save them thousands of dollars this year and every year.”
