On February 6th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, was joined by Minister of Infrastructure, Kinga Surma as well as the Mayor of Vaughan and members of Council for the grand opening of a skating trail at Sports Village in Vaughan. The skating trail was part of a $9 million investment in local infrastructure through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, a joint federal-provincial initiative. MPP Lecce advocated for this project and its completion, along with local residents and families.
“I continue to support and deliver provincial investments to our community to improve and expand recreational facilities for families and youth in Vaughan,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “By working with all levels of government, we were able to complete and now open the new skating trail at Sports Village that will encourage families and seniors to get outdoors, stay healthy through physical activity, and enjoy our natural heritage.”
