PHOTO RELEASE: Northern Transformer Event

On September 22nd, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined local leaders for a ribbon cutting event held by Northern Transformer, a Concord-based company that builds transformers to transport electricity, as they marked the expansion of Power Transformer manufacturing in Ontario. This includes state-of-the-art equipment, upgrades and facility expansion to increase their capability up to 240,000 volts and 200 MVA power transformers.

“It’s critically important that our government continues to invest in the infrastructure King and Vaughan will need in the years ahead,” said MPP Stephen Lecce. “We will continue to take action to keep energy rates stable, increase supply to support economic growth, and oppose the federal carbon tax that hurts working families and seniors."
