On June 23rd, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, was sworn-in as the riding’s re-elected Member of Provincial Parliament at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

MPP Lecce was re-elected with a stronger percentage of vote in 2022 when compared to 2018, and one of the strongest mandates across the province.

“Holding my Grandmother’s Bible as I swore my oath was a special moment in my life – it was a reminder of my family’s humble beginnings, hard work and love,” said MPP Lecce. “It’s an honour for me to serve the people of King and Vaughan at Queen’s Park, and I thank them for putting their trust in me. I will carry on my work and continue to deliver the results that our community deserves -- including more long-term care beds, subway and GO station expansion and the redevelopment of Southlake Hospital."
