On February 8th, 9th and 11th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, visited the Maple Pioneer Italian Seniors Club, the King City Seniors’ Centre, the seniors’ section of Human Endeavour, and the Maple Italo Seniors Club for his annual Valentine’s Day Rose Tour. MPP Lecce provided roses to the senior women who attended these events.
“Valentine’s Day is a wonderful occasion for happy couples, but it can also be an incredibly lonely time for those who have lost loved ones,” said MPP Lecce. “Seniors worked hard, sacrificed and built our country, so it’s always an honour for me to give something back to the mothers and grandmothers who go above and beyond for their families and our country. It's the small things in life that can have the biggest impact. Those smiles mean everything to me."
