PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Sponsors Pre-Chanukah Lunch at Local Synagogue

On December 19th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King--Vaughan, sponsored a pre-Chanukah lunch for families at the Chabad Romano Synagogue in Maple. MPP Lecce handed out traditional chocolate gelt to all the kids.

“I know this year has been especially difficult for many Jewish families in our community, so this Chanukah, I want to ask all of you to stand strong in unity, in the defense of our values, and of our common humanity — as we stand for something good in the world,” said MPP Lecce. “The story of Chanukah — the triumph of good over evil — reminds us to remain optimistic and stay united as a people and as a country no matter what challenges come our way.
