PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce speaks at Purim celebrations in Vaughan

On March 24th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined members of the Chabad Russian Centre of Thornhill Woods and the Chabad of Maple to celebrate Purim at an event in Vaughan. MPP Lecce delivered remarks, expressed his support for the local Jewish community that has been afflicted by an increase in hate.

“I want to thank Rabbi Hildeshaim and Rabbi Deren for hosting a joyful and inspiring celebration of Purim – a holiday that commemorates the saving of the Jewish people from annihilation in ancient times,” said MPP Lecce. “It’s an honour for me to stand with my Jewish friends and neighbours in a time of rising antisemitism, and bring a message of hope to families."
