PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Sings at Italian Heritage Month Celebration with Local Seniors' Club

On June 23rd, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined the Maple Italo Canadian Seniors' Club for their annual Italian Heritage Month celebration, where he performed karaoke of traditional Italian classics with Regional Councillor Mario Ferri. MPP Lecce brought gelato for ever senior and Italian and Canadian flags, as part of his Italian Heritage Month celebrations he initiated across seniors clubs and homes in King-Vaughan. 

"I am proud to be Canadian, and proud of my heritage which is why I was honoured to celebrate Italian Heritage Month with seniors and their families," said MPP Lecce. "I came to hand out gelato, but plans changed as these amazing seniors got me singing and dancing as we celebrated Italian heritage and the immigrant success story of the Italian-Canadian community."
