On December 21st, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan and Ontario’s Minister of Education, York Catholic Trustee Angela Saggese, and local parents at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 10-classroom portapack at Pope Francis Catholic Elementary School in Kleinburg.
“Today’s announcement is great news for Kleinburg families. Our government is committed to building new schools and expanding existing schools like Pope Francis CES to improve the learning conditions of students in this growing community,” said MPP Lecce. “I am proud to have joined local parents to officially cut the ribbon to Pope Francis Elementary School’s new portapak expansion. Our government delivered $1.6 million to fund this 10-classroom portapack expansion that includes common space, enhanced ventilation, and a better learning experience for students. A positive start to 2024!"
