MPP Lecce Celebrates Thai Pongal with Vaughan's Tamil Community

On January 17, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, celebrated Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal, a traditional harvest festival celebrated by the Tamil community, at an event hosted by the Vaughan Tamils' Heritage and Cultural Organization. MPP Lecce delivered remarks on behalf of the Government of Ontario. 

"We started the year off strong with friends from Vaughan's Tamil community—celebrating the pride of their homeland and love for our country," said MPP Lecce. "Happy Thai Pongal!".
