On June 14th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined Michael Ford, Minister of Citizenship and Multiculturalism, Minister Williams, along with MPP David Smith, MPP Barnes, and Mayor Pellegrini to showcase the success of the province's Black Youth Action Plan at a construction site in King Township, along with the announcement of $290 000 to support the Dream Legacy Foundation.
"I am proud to stand alongside my caucus that have broken the glass ceiling to make sure young, ambitious people who want to work hard and make a difference can pursue their full potential," said MPP Lecce. "I am proud to deliver investment in our community of King, that helps to create jobs and skills development for Black and racialized students across our community – this investment is going to make a difference as they enter into good-paying skilled trade careers."
