On September 10th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, hosted the Mayor of Vaughan, Stephen Del Duca; Regional Councilor Rosanna DeFrancesca; Nina Tangri, MPP for Mississauga-Streetsville; Patrice Barnes, MPP for Ajax; and Anna Roberts, MP for King-Vaughan, at MPP Lecce’s annual community appreciation barbecue held in the Polish Army Veterans’ Association Park in Woodbridge. Between 300-400 King-Vaughan residents were treated to free food, ice cream, and live performances by local artists.
“It is truly an honour for me to represent the interests of hard-working King-Vaughan families and seniors at Queen’s Park, and I am incredibly motivated to continue to deliver critical infrastructure investments in our community — from the Cortellucci Vaughan hospitals, to new long-term care and schools,” said MPP Lecce. “I will continue to champion the cause of seniors, families, and young people in our community — including by continuing to fund and soon open the new King Township-Wide Recreation Centre.”
