Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, met with the team involved with delivering the programs for Fuerza Latina to hear how a $99,000 Resilient Communities Grant from Ontario Trillium Fund has made an impact for Latino youth. Also, in attendance were Mayor Stephen Del Duca, Anna Roberts, MP for King-Vaughan and Laura Parson, an Ontario Trillium Fund volunteer.
“Canadians of Hispanic and Latino descent have contributed so much to the growth and prosperity of Ontario, and they are an integral part of our province’s gorgeous cultural mosaic,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “Our government is proud to partner with Fuerza Latina, and we celebrate the incredible work it does in preparing Hispanic and Latino for lifelong success. Fuerza Latino helps to make Vaughan an even better place to live, work, study and raise a family.”
