On April 15th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined friend and colleague Amarjot Sandhu, MPP for Brampton West, for a Vaisakhi celebration and to celebrate Sikh Heritage Month at the Guru Nanak Mission Centre in Brampton. MPP Lecce visited the temple for a matha tek and attended a turban tying class.
“It’s always a special honour to join the Sikh community in King and Vaughan to celebrate Vaisakhi,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “I express thanks to Canada's Indo community for their leadership and generosity as we mark the new year and celebrate Sikh heritage month."
