On January 18th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King--Vaughan, joined Tamil MPP Vijay Thanigasalam and Vaughan's Tamil Community to celebrate Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal at an event hosted by the Vaughan Tamils' Heritage and Cultural Organization.
"I was proud to once again join my friend Vijay Thanigasalam -- the first Tamil elected to provincial office in Ontario's history -- to celebrate Tamil Heritage Month and Thai Pongal with my Tamil friends here in Vaughan," said MPP Lecce.
