PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce celebrates Diwali with Seniors in Vaughan.

On November 4th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, attended a Diwali celebration at the Vellore Village Community Centre in Woodbridge hosted by Human Endeavour, a non-profit that brings seniors together across all cultures and faiths.

“It was wonderful to see so many seniors from different walks of life come together to celebrate Diwali. We live in an incredible country, and I want Canadians to never lose sight of this truth,” said MPP Lecce. “Thank you, Human Endeavour and my many South Asian friends for reminding us of our common humanity and blessings during Diwali – that we are and remain the true light in the face of darkness.”
