On August 15, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King--Vaughan, attended the City of Vaughan's Indian Independence Day celebration.

"It was an honour to celebrate the 78th Indian Independence Day with friends from the Vaughan community," said MPP Lecce. "We celebrate the world's largest democracy and the contributions Indo-Canadians have made to our country."
