PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Buys Zeppole for Seniors

On March 17th, ahead of San Giuseppe Day, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan took a senior couple from Maple, Mr. and Ms. Florio, out to the Maple Bakery for coffee and zeppole, which is a traditional treat enjoyed on this holiday.

“As a proud son of Italy myself, it was a pleasure for me to join Mr. and Ms. Florio for a delightful San Giuseppe Day coffee and zeppole,” said MPP Lecce. “I appreciated listening to their immigrant stories of sacrifice and hard work, and the resilient spirit of Italian immigrants who were determined to create a better life for their families."
