Photo Release - MPP Lecce attends Muslim Women of Vaughan annual Back to School Event

On August 27th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan joined the Muslim Women of Vaughan at their annual Back to School Backpack Giveaway Event.

“I could really feel the excitement at the annual back to school event hosted by Muslim Women of Vaughan. I met many parents who expressed support for Ontario’s focus on improving math and literacy and welcomed the return of phonics along with cursive writing, the introduction of digital literacy and critical thinking skills,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “It was great to join York Region School Board Trustee, Nadeem Mahmood and Vaughan Region Councillor Mario Racco to wish these students a positive year ahead.”
