PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce Attends International Ahmadiyya Football Tournament

On May 16th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, participated in the awards ceremony for soccer players from the international Ahmadiyya community at the closing match of the International Ahmadiyya Football Tournament  in Maple. MPP Lecce distributed prizes to participating teams and presented a congratulatory certificate.

“Soccer encourages young people to embrace healthier lifestyles and values such as good sportsmanship, athletic excellence, team work and mutual respect,” said MPP Lecce. “This year’s tournament was a lot of fun to watch, and I thank the Ahmadiyya Muslim community for bringing people together through sport.”
