PHOTO RELEASE: MPP Lecce attends ceremony for 126th Philippine Independence Day

On June 9th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, attended the City of Vaughan's ceremony to mark 126 years of Philippine independence. This year also marks the 75th anniversary of bilateral relations between Canada and the Philippines. 

"It was wonderful to celebrate Filipino Heritage Month and the 126th anniversary of Philippine Independence with friends from the community," said MPP Lecce. "King-Vaughan's Filipino Community is an example to the country – hardworking, generous, and fiercely proud Canadians."
