Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined Franceso Sorbara, MP for Vaughan-Woodbridge; Maurizio Bevilacqua, Mayor of Vaughan; local councillors; Rose Savage, Vaughan Public libraries Chair; officers with the York Region Police; educators; parents; children, and local residents for the official opening celebration at the fully revitalized Maple Library & Community Centre in Maple.
The project was granted more than $9 million in funding through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program (ICIP).
