Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined the Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club for an exciting announcement at their local clubhouse in Kleinburg.

MPP Lecce delivered $246,500 through the Community Building Fund and $149,900 through the Resilient Communications Fund Grant. These funds help organizations continue operating facilities and deliver experiences or programs for Ontarians by purchasing technology and software to expand virtual programming options, and employing staff to explore operational capacity and new financing models. It will also rebuild and recover from impacts of COVID-19 by implementing virtual coaching and player development, purchasing equipment, and developing alternative sources of revenue to build organizational capacity.

“Excited to get more kids playing soccer in our community through enhanced programming and a new initiative to recruit more girls by delivering $400,000 in grants to the Kleinburg Nobleton Soccer Club, said MPP Lecce. “It was amazing meeting the student-coaches who are inspiring the next generation, as we see young girls and boys participate in sport and learn about the value of team work, discipline, and competitiveness. A special thanks to the coaches and volunteers for working so hard to inspire children over the past years."
