Over the 8 days of Hannukah from November 28 to December 6, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, attended various outdoor menorah lighting ceremonies with members of the Jewish community where he shared remarks on behalf of the Government of Ontario.

December 1: Local families gathered to light the menorah at the Village of Kleinburg for the first time in Kleinburg’s history thanks to the Vaughan Public Library and community member Nat Levy
“This Hannukah, we celebrated the power of light over darkness that triumphs over all difficulties,” says Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “This is the story of the Jewish people who have overcome adversity every step of the way. As we see a rise in Antisemitism, we remain committed to standing together with the Jewish community of King-Vaughan who have contributed so much to our province.”
