On August 25th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, met an Afghan interpreter named Masood while visiting the Human Endeavour Annual Hope Community Garden Barbecue in Vaughan. Masood risked his life to work with the Canadian Army in the fight against terror during our country’s mission in Afghanistan.
“I’m proud that Masood has found refuge in a country that owes him so much,” said MPP Lecce. “Masood is the face of moral courage, and I wish him well as he builds a new life here in Canada.”
