On July 1st, Canada Day, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, attended various events across the community.
MPP Stephen Lecce first joined Maurizio Bevilacqua, Mayor of Vaughan, Vaughan regional and city councillors, representatives from York Regional Police and Vaughan Fire, and members of the community for a Canada Day celebration in Vaughan. The event included arts and crafts, interactive activities, life-sized and yard games, ping pong and foosball tables, stilt walkers, character meet-and-greets, video game stations and so much more.
“Canada Day is a special day for all of us – I've celebrated the miracle that is our nation -- a land of opportunity, democracy, and freedom” said MPP Lecce. “All of us have one shared motivation: continue to build the ‘True North Strong and Free.’”
