On May 27th, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, hosted Lisa Thompson, Ontario’s Minister of Agriculture at the annual Schomberg Agricultural Fair along with members of the Schomberg community. The Schomberg Agricultural Fair is an annual tradition that has showcased farmers, local talent, art, and brought lots of fun, activities and excitement for families and children over the past 172 years.
“It was a pleasure for me to meet with hard-working local farmers, families and entrepreneurs and celebrate 173 years of history and tradition at the Schomberg Agricultural Fair,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “I’m grateful to represent a community with a big heart, which is why I want to thank the many volunteers who made this one of the most successful Fairs in memory. Lisa and I met many farmers, and assured them we will continue to protect inter generational family farm for generations to come.”
