Photo Release: ANCHOR community health event

Updated: Jun 22, 2022

On March 26, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, partnered with the African Canadian National Coalition against Hate, Oppression and Racism (ANCHOR) and joined physicians, certified diabetes educators, nurses and mental health counsellors from the Black community at Tommy Douglas Secondary School in Vaughan to promote Black community health.

“Ontario takes pride in having one of the greatest health care systems anywhere in the world, so it’s critically important that all Ontarians know which services are available to them, and how to access them,” said MPP Lecce. “I am proud to partner with ANCHOR and other representatives from the Black community to help ensure that all residents of King and Vaughan enjoy access to high-quality health care.”
