On December 7, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, stopped by a care package assembly event hosted by Aspire to Inspire, a registered charity that supports individuals and families in our community. MPP Lecce, joined by the Mayor, thanked the volunteers for their work this holiday season and presented the Founder, Rebecca, with a congratulatory certificate from Queen's Park.
"I took a moment to stop by and extend my gratitude to Rebecca and to all the hard-working volunteers that gave up their weekend to help families in need," said MPP Lecce. "With 1,000 care packages assembled, that's 1,000 families getting a true gift this Christmas that otherwise wouldn't have it—a small difference going a long way. I'm proud to recognize Aspire to Inspire and congratulate them on 10 successful years and for being officially registered as a Canadian charity—empowering them to continue changing lives one package at a time."
