On July 5, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, joined local families for the annual St. David's Festival at the Maple Community Centre. MPP Lecce sponsored the festival.

"The St. David's Parish Festival was a beautiful event where we come together with a sense of unity in our faith and citizenship, all in support of our church community," said MPP Lecce. "Congratulations to Father Martin for another successful festival — and special thanks to the St. David's Knights of Columbus and Catholic Women's League for leading by example and keeping us fueled and energized."
