MPP Lecce Supports Italia Lingua Cultura Association's First Annual Fundraiser Gala

On June 13, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended the First Annual Fundraiser gala for the Italia Lingua Cultura Association, co-founded by Angela Saggese and Maria Iafrate. The Association is a non-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote and enhance Italian language education in York Region. MPP Lecce sponsored a table at the event.


"As Minister of Education, I was proud to work with parents and educators to bring the Italian Language Day Program to York Region schools," said MPP Lecce. "We kept that mission alive at the First Annual Italia Lingua Cultura Fundraiser — with special thanks to Angela Saggese for leading the way in preserving Italian language education in our community."
