MPP Lecce Supports Fundraiser for Local Boy Fighting Rare Genetic Disease

On July 26, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended the Boots & Hope Community Fundraiser in support of Lucas Azevedo, a local boy from Kleinburg battling an ultra-rare genetic condition. The fundraiser was organized by Lucas' mother Sophia. Donations in support of Lucas can be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/letscurelucas. 


"We rallied behind Lucas to raise money for a cure — in true cowboy fashion!" said MPP Lecce. "It was wonderful to see friends from across the community unite to bring Lucas and his family the greatest gift of all: hope. We’re over halfway to his gene therapy fundraising goal, and I ask that you please consider donating to get us one step closer to curing Lucas."
