MPP Lecce Hosts UK Advisor on Antisemitism in Vaughan

On June 21, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, hosted Lord John Mann, the UK Government's Independent Advisor on Antisemitism, for a roundtable with prominent Jewish organizations in the GTA. Lord Mann is the UK Government's leading authority on combatting antisemitism, and participated in the roundtable organized by MPP Lecce.

"It was a privilege to welcome Lord Mann to Vaughan — a timely visit as our community grapples with increasing violence targeting Jewish businesses, synagogues, and schools," said MPP Lecce. "We agreed on the need to be intentional in the way we address hateful discrimination against the Jewish community, because what starts with the Jews never ends with the Jews. I am grateful to Lord Mann for taking the time to visit Canada and listen from our own Jewish community about their experiences, and what actions leaders in government must take to retain moral clarity."
