MPP Lecce Hosts Annual Pumpkin Giveaway and Food Drive Ahead During Thanksgiving Weekend

On October 11, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, hosted his annual Pumpkin Giveaway and Food Drive in Kleinburg, encouraging the community to donate non-perishables in support of the Vaughan-based Humanity First Food Bank. This was the largest turnout of any Pumpkin Giveaway event, held annually, in historic Kleinburg Village. 

"Thank you to everyone that came by to pick up a pumpkin and donate food to the volunteer-run Humanity First Food Bank," said MPP Lecce. "As we mark Thanksgiving, let us all take a moment to be grateful for Canada — and be proud to live in such an amazing country. It is also the right time to express gratitude to front line police officers who have demonstrated courageous service in the face of real risk."
