MPP Lecce Congratulates Riders at Villa Charities Giro Cycling Fundraiser

On May 24, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended the Villa Charities Giro Cycling Fundraiser in support of Villa Charities, which is affiliated with the Villa Colombo homes in Vaughan and North York. MPP Lecce received riders at the Veneto Centre in Woodbridge as they returned from their routes and delivered remarks about what this event means for the Italian Canadian diaspora.

"Villa Colombo was the home away from home for many Italians who immigrated to Canada," said MPP Lecce. "It represents tradition, family, and unity across our immigrant story and pride in Canada. Proud to support the cyclists and volunteers at the annual Villa Charities Giro— raising over $150,000 to keep those enduring Italo-Canadian values alive."
