MPP Lecce Celebrates Grand Opening of Haven Greens

On July 15, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, joined Founder and CEO Jay Willmot and the team at Haven Greens for their official grand opening and ribbon cutting. MPP Lecce presented the Haven Greens team with a congratulatory certificate and a Canadian flag from Queen's Park.

"This isn't your grandfather's farm," said MPP Lecce. "We came together to open Haven Greens — the most technologically advanced greenhouse in Canada that grows nutritious leafy greens. I was proud to present a Canadian flag and thank the Willmot family for delivering this modern and sustainable greenhouse, along with generating clean power right on-site.
