MPP Lecce Celebrates Canada Day with Ahmadiyya Community in Vaughan

On Canada Day, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended a Canada Day celebration hosted by the Ahmadiyya Community in Maple. MPP Lecce spoke on behalf of the Government of Ontario and handed out Canadian flags and watermelon slices to families in attendance.

"Canada's Ahmadiyya community truly walks the walk— a shining example of patriotism, generosity, and courage in the face of persecution," said MPP Lecce. "In a world of increasing division, it was incredibly powerful to come together as one strong Canadian family.”
