On August 3, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended the second annual Neza Bazi and Horse-Riding Event in Kettleby. Neza Bazi is a traditional equestrian sport originating from South Asia that involves riders on horseback using a lance to peg items from the ground.

"King is horseback country, the equestrian capital of Ontario," said MPP Lecce. "While attending my first tent pegging tournament — the community got me on one of these beautiful horses. It was a great experience to join the competitors and horse riders as we kicked off the tournament."
