MPP Lecce Attends Heritage Calabria Gala

On November 7, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King—Vaughan, attended the Heritage Calabria Gala organized by Chef Luciano Schipano. The event recognized five individuals and organizations celebrating Calabrian excellence, culture, and community leadership, with proceeds from the event going towards the YCDSB Italian Language Program and the Sal Ritacca Bursary providing a $1,000 scholarship supporting a student entering the Leonardo Da Vinci Academy. MPP Lecce delivered remarks on behalf of the Government of Ontario. 

"We celebrated all things Calabrian at the Heritage Calabria Gala, including some remarkable Italo-Canadians who make our community proud," said MPP Lecce. "Congratulations to this year's award recipients—Auguri a tutti!"
