Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, visited Kingcrafts Studio in King City to congratulate them on being recipients of two Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Grants. In 2020, Kingcrafts received $68K under the OTF Capital Stream grant to make renovation upgrades and improve accessibility. In 2021, $26,900 was awarded under the Community Building Fund – Operating stream grant over 12 months to upgrade technology services for online programing and installing equipment in line with health and safety protocols. MPP Lecce worked to advance these requests and support the restoration of the Kingcrafts Studio.
“Kingcrafts has enriched our community through
art, culture and heritage for over 70 years,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP King-Vaughan. “That is why I was proud to deliver two critical grants of $26K and $68K to Kingcrafts Studio in King City to support accessibility, energy efficient windows, and digital commerce. I hope our community will continue to rally behind local artisans and small business and support the upcoming November sale!”
