On Tuesday, January 18, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan participated in a Pre-Budget 2022 Consultation Meeting with MPP Michael Tibollo and MPP Daisy Wai hosted by the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Finance, MPP Michael Parsa.
In attendance were various local leaders and stakeholders representing different sectors from Vaughan, King Township and Richmond Hill. They included King Chamber President Angelo Santorelli, and other King small business and non-profit leaders. Angelo noted his appreciation to MPP Lecce for advocating and delivering for King small business, including through ongoing investments in broadband expansion, road improvements, and increased financial supports for the Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital and Southlake Hospital.
“We are listening to the priorities of our community as we work to get our economy back on track and move Ontario's recovery forward,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “I am determined to continue to fight for investment and deliver upgrades to our local infrastructure, and that includes ending the digital divide by expanding internet, building a state-of-the-art Community Center in King, and upgrading the King City GO. We will continue to work together with Mayor Pellegrini and the Chamber to support affordability, job creation, and global export access for our small business community."
