On November 10, Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, joined Minister Michael Tibollo at Boomerang Health in Maple to discuss ways to support mental health needs of children and youth and learn more about their Eating Disorders clinic.
Boomerang Health clinic opened in 2013 by Sick Kids Hospital to provide multi-disciplinary, rehabilitation, developmental, and mental health services to children and their families.
“Boomerang Health clinic is providing critical medical support for children in our community,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “Our government has increased investment to pediatric hospitals and institutions, to support students and put them on a path to recovery. We saw first hand the services offered by Boomerang Health - Sick Kids, including a tour of the comprehensive Eating Disorders clinic in addition to their multi-disciplinary medical and mental health program for local youth.”
