Ontario Doubling Funding to Help Smaller Communities Build Safe and Reliable Transit
LONDON — The Ontario government is doubling its support for the Ontario Transit Investment Fund (OTIF) through the 2026 provincial budget, increasing it from $5 million to $10 million annually over the next three years. The $30 million investment will help rural and underserved communities build safe and reliable transit services, protecting Ontario’s economy and connecting more people to jobs and opportunity across the province.

Ontario Increasing Access to Primary Care Across the Province

Ontario Investing $300 Million to Build and Upgrade Local Sport and Recreation Facilities
KITCHENER — The Ontario government is investing an additional $300 million in the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund (CSRIF) to build and upgrade sport and recreation facilities across the province. Announced as part of the 2026 Ontario Budget: A Plan to Protect Ontario, this brings total government funding for the program to $500 million, and will support local community projects, create good-paying jobs, promote active, healthy living
