Yesterday, on the anniversary of the Quebec City Mosque shooting, the constituency office of Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan, was illuminated in green light to honour victims of the attack and stand in solidarity with Canada’s Muslim community. MPP Lecce made the following statement:
“Seven years ago, Canadians of all faiths were shocked and horrified by the hate-filled attack on Muslim-Canadians at the Quebec City Mosque,” said Stephen Lecce, MPP for King-Vaughan. “For the third year, I have illuminated my office in green to honour the victims of that senseless and horrific attack, and to show that the people of King-Vaughan stand united against Islamophobia and hate in in our community and across Canada.”
